All the species we'll discuss here are species of air-breathing tropical land snail, a terrestrial pulmonate gastropod mollusk in the family Achatinidae. 1. Achatina Achatina – Achatina achatina, commonly known as the giant Ghana snail or  the giant tiger land snail.
